The Challenge
Sundargarh, a mineral-rich yet geographically difficult district, faced critical education challenges: limited infrastructure, poor monitoring, and delayed data reporting. To address these issues, DMF Sundargarh launched a bold digital inclusion project across government schools, especially in backward and tribal areas.
The Solution: Simplified Schooling ERP + VSAT Integration
- School ERP Platform: Comprehensive digital management—student and teacher records, daily attendance, lesson tracking, and analytics.
- Geo-Mapped School Profiles: Accurate mapping and monitoring of infrastructure across all 397 schools.
- VSAT Connectivity: Satellite-based, two-way digital classroom connectivity for reliable remote learning.
- Virtual Learning Setup: Live subject-wise broadcasting from a central Smart Studio in Sundargarh.
- Mobile App Integration: Real-time reporting and planning tools for teachers and headmasters via mobile.
Inauguration & Stakeholder Support
Backed by DMF Sundargarh, DEO, and the Odisha School & Mass Education Department, the project launched with a centralized Smart Education Studio—enabling seamless virtual teaching, remote training, and coordinated academic planning.
